Encore Choir Voice Scholarship Application 

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY AUGUST 24TH AT 3:00 PM.

Eligibility:  
- A returning member of Encore Choir (sophomores-seniors) 
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher – student must provide an unofficial transcript from Spring 2026 
- Must be in good standing and abide by the handbook/rules of Encore Choir and Dawson High School 
- *Auditioning for All-State and performing in Solo & Ensemble 

Applicant Requirements: 

• Both the student and parent/guardian must READ and SIGN this application – turned in in-person or via Microsoft Form 

• Parent/Guardian must be a member of the Encore Choir Booster Club* 

• Parent/Guardian must consent to the student participating in lessons 

• The student should provide a 500-word essay (see specific details below) 

• 15 mins. interview with Encore Director(s) & Booster Club member – Interviews will be on August 27th at 3:00 PM. 

• Unofficial transcript submitted via Microsoft Form 

• Teacher Recommendation – this link should be sent by YOU to the teacher of your choice.
